Scope & Applications

  1. “VULCAN” heavy duty Regulator Type Welding Transformer are very effective for fast production, structural work, machine building & fabrication, filling jobs, worn-out machine parts repair. VULCAN moving shunt type machines are the swiftest to offer stepless regulation in welding current to match all operations while the stud type machines outperform, all in ruggedness in truly heavy-duty applications.
  2. Regulator type air-cooled welding transformers in 300 to 600 Amps. It fulfils the most of the requirements of AC welding and ideally suitable for most of the manual welding operations for indoor and outdoor uses. Especially, for various types of jobs with diverse current requirements from min. to max. are easily attended by these machines. The weld qualities of these machines are smooth and soft with minimum spatter.
  3. In addition, these are specially designed & manufactured for noiseless operations for the years of service, housed in a fabricated robust steel cabinet, mounted on 3 solid rubber tyre wheels. Welding current can be adjusted infinity in a current range for minimum to maximum with the help of a specially designed shunt to change flux linkage. The louvers ensure best and heavy duty welding.
  4. Standard models are available in Aluminium winding & copper winding with insulation class A or F. Power factor correction capacitor is provided against demand at extra cost. Oil cooled machines are supplied on specific order.
